After this Life, I want to Be with
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 0 time

After This life, I Want to Be With Jesus!

There’s something that no one

 needs to tell me.

There’ll be a time when

my body will fail me.

I can try to stay young, but no matter

 what I try.

There will come a day when

I’ll lie down and die.

God created me, but the sentence

 of sin prevails.

After this life is gone,

it’s either heaven or hell.

Jesus made a way and paid for

 my life on the cross.

Without him, I’d be forever

hopeless and lost!

I’m so glad that he made a way

 to be with him.

I’ve opened up my heart

 and received him!

Won’t you join me and accept

his salvation?

He’s waiting now, and extends

 an invitation!

This can be a great day both

for you and me!

To KNOW where we’ll be

 spending our eternity!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
