Escaping God's Judgement?
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 0 time

Escaping God's Judgement...

Judgement shall begin at the house of God.
One day, we'll all face his "correction rod."

If it begins with the righteous...
what will the unsaved do?
They can pray and run...
where will they run to?

If the righteous are scarcely saved;
where will the unsaved hide?
Every "trick in the world" has already been tried!

It's time to stop playing games-
no more "pretending."
This world as we know it will soon be ending.

Come before God now...kneel before his throne.
It's only by accepting his son can
you have an eternal home!

You can try fooling the people
you meet each Sunday.
But a day of reckoning with God
will happen someday.

"Forgive me Lord; I have sinned,"
must be spoken.
Every weight and bondage can now be broken!

He loves you so much and desires
to make you whole!
By his blood...your sins
can be as white as snow!

When God's judgement comes...
you needn't be ashamed.
Reach out to him NOW-and call on his name!

Allow him to be your Lord
as he desires to be!
So you can rule and reign with him
throughout eternity!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
