God's Word Is Worth Knowing!

God's Word Is Worth Knowing!.

It's about time that many

do more than “go to church.”

They need to study God's word,

and begin to search.

People shouldn’t go to church,

 just to be “comfortable.”

And treat God’s word as

“untouchable.”

The truth of God’s word

 is very powerful!

It’s more precious than gold!

And invaluable!

Read from Genesis

 through Revelation.

Let’s start today!

Will you accept this invitation?

King David hid the word inside...

That he may not sin.

Isn't it about time we start

 reading his word...  Again?

The Bible is God's truth!

Some may wonder and doubt.

You’ll find it's 100 percent true...

 All throughout!

It's more than history.

Or just some "old story."

It's a message from God.

 Whom is majestic and holy!

It was inspired by God

and written by men.

But it's just as if God was

 holding the pen.

God’s message is the same now,

as it was long ago.

It holds truth, hope

and nourishment for the soul.

Rather than living by

 men’s “set of rules….”

Read the Bible yourself!

And allow it to change YOU!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
