A Servant's Heart
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

May We Have A Servantís Heart!

Don't think of yourself as

"above" anyone!

You wouldn't be here...

If not for God's only son!

Thinking of yourself as

"above" is futility.

I pray that you would walk

in a spirit of humility.

Jesus said; "The greatest among us

must be the servant of all!."

Does this truth cause you

†to stumble or fall?

If you don't love others,

†with a humble heart.

A life filled with pride

will not depart.

Are you truly seeking

†God's love?

You must receive a servant's

heart from God above.

In everything you do...†

May you seek Jesus first!

For his righteousness...

May you hunger and thirst.

The message of this is not

meant to be redundant.

But to walk in God's love...

†ever so abundant!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
