†I Love You My Lord!

Lord. from the depths of my heartÖ

†I love you!

For all that youíve done for meÖ†

I praise you!

Lord, from the moment you came

†and saved meÖ

Youíve given me your love

†that surrounds me!

Lord, I donít know where Iíd be

without your kindness.

Iíd be walking without your light in total blindness!

Youíve given to me a joy

that is worth giving!

And have blessed me each

day that Iím living!

You took away my sorrows, sin and shame!

With you in my life...†

Things arenít the same!

For all that youíve done for me.

†What more could I ask?

I now have a new life in YOU!

It will forever last!

Youíre my hope and the

reason that Iím here!

With you close by my side...

†Iíve no reason to fear!

Youíre the same Jesus as you were 2000 years ago!

My life is now complete, forgiven

†and made whole!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
