Have Your Own Way Lord!

Have Your Own Way Lord!

Have your own way Lord. In my life today.

You are the sculptor. I am the clay!

Fashion and mold me into what I should be.

Open my blind eyes, that I might see!

Keep me and help me to humbly understand.

Trusting you and not letting go of your hand!

Surround me with your presence right now.

I come before you Lord, and humbly bow!

Help me to allow you to cleanse me throughout.

May I find in you what true love is all about!

Give me the guidance that Ill need in the future.

You know what tomorrow holds, and see the big picture.

You are what I need and bless me from above.

May my life be an example of your eternal love!

Thank you my Lord for answering my plea!

And helping me to be the kind of person I need to be!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
