Jesus Brings True Freedom!

Jesus Brings True Freedom!

There are many who have

“secret addictions.”

This often brings unneeded

afflictions!

God knows what thoughts

Are in the head…

He knows what will be spoken,

Before it’s said!

This world offers

many "ungodly things?"

Not realizing the bondage

 this often brings.

Freedom in Jesus,

 is something that can last!

We don’t have to

live in the past!”

Run from this addictions.

 Leave them behind!

And allow God's peace

 to fill your mind!

Jesus is knocking at

 your heart's door.

Won’t you allow him in?

What are you waiting for?

He can break the bondage

that's holding you back.

Living by his word will get

your life on the right track.

Jesus can do what no other

 power could ever do.

He alone can set you free.

The rest is up to you!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
