Won't You Allow Jesus to Take Away

Won’t You Allow Jesus To Take Away Your Pain?

Do you feel like you life is filled with pain?

You may feel like a mighty storm just came?

Perhaps you feel your life’s taken one big turn?

You don’t care anymore and aren’t concerned?

This is understandably a difficult kind of situation…

Everything is falling apart, with no explanation.

May I introduce you to Jesus?

 He loves you so much!

You’re never too far from the reach of his touch!

May I suggest a Jesus-filled way of your living?

You can find out NOW!  And the hope that he’s giving!

He brings peace and grace, to heartache and despair.

He’s someone who’s concerned!  Someone who cares!

Won’t you allow his goodness to surround you?

What he can do for you,

 may astound you!

He’s here for you, even when there’s no way out.

This is God and what his love is all about!

Won’t you give him all of your

sorrow, worry and pain?

Through him, your life can be totally changed!

Won’t you allow his spirit to bring a healing within?

He’ll always be there for you, until the very end!

He’s always the answer! When things go wrong!

Into his loving arms, is where YOU belong!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
