What Christ Has Done...
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

What Christ Has Done…

Have you thought about, just for a moment…

Christ’ death on the cross and his atonement?

Have you thought about all he’s done for you?

And the price he paid because he loves you?

Up on the cross…  You were on his mind.

He gave himself to be a sacrifice for mankind.

He has done all of this and so much more.

The sins of mankind was what he bore!

For what he’s done for you, not it’s your turn.

Perhaps you don’t even care nor concerned.

But before the next day passes you by…

Think of where you’ll be after you die.

Christ he prepared a home for you eternal.

Your name can be written in heaven’s journal.

Through Christ’ shed blood,

a way has been made.

A sacrifice for you,

has long ago been paid.

Won’t you accept Christ as your Lord and friend?

You can receive his salvation

 and love within!

Let’s honor Jesus Christ

for the work he’s done!

All glory to God the father,

the spirit and the son!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
