Jesus, Touch through Me!

Jesus, Touch Through Me!

Jesus, I ask that you would touch through me!

May it be your example that others would see!

I ask for your holy spirit to strengthen me within.

And help me to trust you again and again!

I need for your power to help me today.

That I would honor your in what I do and say!

I can’t do this on my own.

 I need you right now.

I come before your presence,

 and humbly bow.

Please take control of everything I hold on to.

There’s nothing in this world that I belong to!

It’s only in you Jesus that I put

 my faith and trust.

Making you my priority

should be a daily must.

Thank you dear Lord for answering my plea…

May others see more of you, and less of me!

You’re what’s important!

This is what I know...

Help this unworthy vessel

to touch the lost soul!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
