Look To Jesus!

Look To Jesus!
Have you been frustrated with
"church and religion?"
By the "superficial" hope
and man-focused attention?
Have you been "cast out" by
 a fellow church member?
The faults you have...
They do remember.
Some in church who pray
and worship on Sunday.
Are often a different person
come Monday.
Some who claim to be
"righteous and holy."
Are simply full of
"hot air and baloney."
Look to Jesus!  Look beyond
 the "church crowd."
Read his holy word...
And shout it out loud!
A relationship with Jesus is the
most important thing.
Into your life... His righteousness
he will bring.
The "religous distractions"
will simply go.
Once Christ has control over
your thoughts and soul.
He is the answer.
His word 100% true.
You're precious to him...
How much he loves YOU!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
