Jesus, Have Your Way In Me!

Jesus, Have Your Way In Me!

Jesus, please have your will

 in my life today.

Please bless the things I’ll do and say!

May I bring you honor in the way

 I’m living.

I need to focus on your love

and forgiving!

May your words be what I’ll learn from.

And not forget the sinful life I came from.

I ask that your goodness would fill my soul.

It’s only in you Lord,

that I’m made whole!

I know you have many blessings for me!

You’ve always been there to help me.

You’re like a mighty rock that isn’t shaken.

Your life for my life is what has been taken!

I bless and thank you,

for all you’ve done!

The battle is over!  The victory is won!

Your will for my will, is what I’m asking…

That I may enjoy a life,

 that’s everlasting!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
