Does Your Behavior Glorify Jesus?

Does Your Behavior Glorify Jesus?

If one would look at your life’s behavior…

Would it be a good example

 of your savior?

Would it be one that’s loving and kind?

Would it be a vessel of a Christ’ like mind?

Would others see Jesus being glorified in you?

Or does anger often rule the things you do?

Are you being careful of the words you say?

Do  you hold unforgiveness

 each day you pray?

Can malice or resentment in you be found?

Do you act as if Jesus

 “simply left town?”

Are you being the believer you need to be?

Are you leading others to Christ for eternity?

May the Holy Spirit bring a strong conviction.

If your leading others into the wrong direction!

May the words of Christ seek deep within…

May God’s word daily remind us of sin!

May our behavior speak deep into our soul.

Jesus must be glorified.

The garbage needs to GO!

Please come dear Lord and touch

 our hearts with fire.

That behaving in a Christ like way

 will be our desire!

Let’s focus on the cross of Christ

 to rule supreme.

Let’s allow Christ to be the Lord

 of  everything!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
