Won't You Return to Jesus?

Wonít You Return to Jesus?.

What you do in life will soon be of the past!
What you do for Christ is a treasure that will last.

I know we get busy,†doing so many things!†
Trying to find in life, what happiness brings!

We often spend time away from the family,
Trying to live our life and pretending to be happy.

We want to show off "our" possessions and charm,
but are walking in much danger and harm.

When our true love is not Jesus, but things,
our "wealth", our house, diamonds and rings.

Weíre empty, if we donít have God's love throughout!

Serving God is what our life should be about!

Return to your first loveódonít hesitate...
Do it now....the hour's growing late!!!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
