Let's Stand For Holy Living, Like J

Let’s Stand for Holy Living, Like Joseph Did!

Where would we be, if Joseph gave

 into temptation?

Potiphar’s wife gave an alluring invitation.

He ran away from her adulterous wishes.

Even though later, it was kind of “suspicious.”

Potiphar seen that Joseph was put into jail.

Joseph knew that his God

would NEVER fail!

Joseph counted his blessings each day.

He listened to what God had to say!

God honored him for taking a righteous stand.

Years later, he was the second

 ruler over the land!

We must take a Godly stand, no matter the cost!

We must keep in focus the sacrifice

of the cross!

Ungodly lust will bring us down a moral cavity.

This will eventually lead to sin’s captivity!

Run from the perverted things around you!

Seek God’s holiness!

 Don’t let others fool you!

Let’s honor God each day that we’re living!

Ask yourself; “what kind of life am I giving?”

Dedication to God is worth it all!

God is there when you stumble and fall!

Stand for God’s holiness in this

wicked generation!

Like Joseph, run from all

ungodly temptations!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
