Freedom's Rainbow
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

By George David Denson
Other Poems by George David Denson

As America sets sail,
In her old Red, White and Blue;
Her future is as fragile,
As it was for Columbus in 1492.

America, God shed His grace on thee,
In Columbus's red, white and blue;
For he sailed safely across the wide sea,
Birthing a new freedom ever so true!

This glorious Freedom Rainbow
Of deep red, pure white and sky blue;
Is a design of the great God of grace above,
And is His gracious gift of love to you.

This Rainbow of Freedom
Sets against an ever darkening sky;
While a Holy Light seeks to break through,
Ever pleading for freedom to stay alive!
