Christmas Grace
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

By George David Denson
Other Poems by George David Denson

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound,
The hymn writer, John Newton,
majestically wrote.
His grace is more amazing
at Christmas time, than any other time,
The minister of grace
passionately spoke.

Tis the season for joyful giving,
The essence and highest expression,
of God's amazing grace.
God gave us His son,Jesus,
So our sins could be forgiven,
and Heaven become
our future homeplace.

Another year will soon pass,
A new year with all its challenges
and uncertainties we will face.
Yet, we need not fear or worry,
For His peace is ours,
Because of God's gift
of Christmas grace.
