The Grapes of Blessing

The Grapes of Blessing

I am the Vine, You are the branches,
Jesus said to His disciples one eventful night.
Life's happiness is not a by-product of mere chances,
It will come as you walk in My Holy Light.

Abide in me, and bring forth clustered grapes of blessings,
Bearing much fruit should not be an overburdened chore.
Life's happiness is not found in second-guessing,
It comes as you receive faith's highest reward.

Glorify My Father, and bring honor to My name,
Bring forth full baskets of sweet grapes.
Become Vineyard partners with My Father and Me,
Gathering plump, juicy grapes of blessing,
For Our names sake.

I am the Vine, You are the branches,
Bear much fruit and show Me your love.
Life's happiness is not a by-product of mere chances,
It is the result of the luscious grapes of blessing,
Sent from My Father above.
