Wash the Children's Feet

Wash the Children's Feet

It takes a village to raise children,
A former first lady passsionately wrote.
Each child that comes into the world
Should feel special,
Every boy and girl,
Daily needs our lovingly strokes.

Our homes, our schools, our churches,
Could become that village,
And O' so much more!
Raising children for the Kingdom,
Should be a joy for all,
Not a duty or time-consuming chore.

Jesus, the lover of all children,
Set a worthy example before us.
Wash the children's feet, He taught
As I have done for you, do you also for them.
Be my witnesses in this loving act of caring grace.

Yes, wash the children's feet,
Give the little ones,
A cup of cold water in My Name.
Be a light in the heart and life of each child,
And the blessing of heaven,
You and all children can begin to claim.
