New Year Steppingstones!

These are Four Steppingstones
To helping God,
So He Can Help You,
Have A Happy New Year

Feed on His Word;
For to live by bread alone
As our Lord taught,
Is totally absurd.

Under His Lordship,
Bring all of your life;
And He will relieve you
Of much of life's
Anxiety and strife.

With confidence,
Move forward into the New Year;
Let Him know that your faith,
Is true, fervent and sincere.

Love God,
With all your heart,
Soul, mind and strength;
And love your neighbor
To the greatest extent of all lengths!

If you will take
These Four Steppingstones;
You will greatly help God,
Help You,
Have A Happy New Year!

About the Poet
I am 73 years old and have not written poetry in these past many years For my wife of 73, my daughter of 50 and my son, 44 in the Army National guard I write this poem in faith but also with tear.
