Life's Winter Sun

Life's Winter Sun

Another new year of our life,
Has gallantly begun;
Embraced by the awesome presence,
Of the bright and bold Winter Sun.

Winter's sunlight shines forth
Ever so bright and so bold;
Lifting our sluggish spirits,
And warming our post-holiday souls.

Glistening on the frosted brown grass,
And melting the pure white snow;
Winter's Sun rings the soul's liberty bell,
Freeing us from the slavery of Winter's cold.

Winter's Sun through clear or cloudy skies,
Each day rises and shines;
Encouraging our soul to trust in his creator,
And leave our worries, cares, and fears far behind.

I am life's Winter Sun,
The Son of God openly taught;
Repent and find forgiveness of your sins,
And My light will bring sin's bitter winter cold
to a life-changing, soul-saving end.
