Good Evening From Jerusalem...
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

By George David Denson
Other Poems by George David Denson

Good evening from Jerusalem,
Reporting from Bethlehem,
We now hear each and every night.
Are the days of God's judgment
Upon the world's sins,
Immediately within our sights.

No one can say for certain,
Neither does one desire it to be so;
However, in the midst of it all,
There is one thing for sure,
In various ways, and divers manners,
God is speaking to us all!

As the smoke rises from Bethlehem,
The Church of The Nativity held hostage,
And the city of Jerusalem with closed doors.
It is time for all of us to enter
Our private prayer closets,
Praying for His redeeming grace,
Yet, more and more and more!
