Christmas In The Year 2004

Christmas in the Year 2004

Merry Christmas!
It is hard to beleive that it will soon be
Christmas in the year of our Lord 2004;
God becoming man --
Through Jesus of Nazareth, still appeals
To our high-tech souls, and should not be ignored.

His Name
Shall be called Jesus,
We were told on that first Christmas Day;
He will save His people
From their sins, for He is
The Life, The Truth, and The Way!

Zecharias and Elizabeth,
Joesph and Mary -- Couples in love
With each other ever so loyal and true;
Our high-tech families
Need so desperately to see again --
This Christmas gift of family love's hidden clue!

A daydream? No a fact!
It will soon be Christmas 2004 -- Celebrating
The wonderful, gracious gift of God's only Son;
For in the 21st Century
Understanding this mysterious work of God's grace,
Is still quite challenging,
And for most has only really begun!
