Open Your Bibles With Me
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Other Poems by George David Denson

Open your Bibles with me,
My faithful Pastor said today.
There is much truth and wisdom
Offered to you and your family always.

We have questions about Life, Death,
Faith, Love and Heaven too.
Hear what the Old and New Testaments
Have to say--
As they speak directly to you.

You must not live by bread alone,
The Son of God boldly declared.
Every word that proceedeth
Out of the mouth of God,
Should be weighed with prayerful care.

Open your Bibles with me,
I said tonight--
At our family altar time.
Not to hide His Words in our hearts,
Would be like committing a serious crime.
