The Mysterious Touch

The Mysterious Touch

In our world of rock, and soil,
Man's blood, sweat and tears --
Exploration of vital minerals and precious oil,
There is always the mysterious touch of the Divine.

Hollywood, Wall Street, Washington D.C.,
Home, family, personal achievment and pleasures --
So much to experience, so much to see,
Yet, there is always the mysterious touch of the Divine.

Computers, satellites, needs of foreign lands,
Planes, trains, and automobiles,
All touched by the human hand --
In the midst of it all,
There is still the mysterious touch of the Divine.

Poverty, riches, joyful sharing,
Sickness, health, and healing miracles --
Daily witnesses of heart-felt caring,
Expressions of the mysterious touch of the Divine.

Industry, education, and God's grace,
Compassion, community, and abiding faith --
Earth is such a sacred place,
In the presence of the mysterious touch of the Divine.
