Folded Hands/Bended Knees

Folded Hands/Bended Knees

As I fold my weary hands,
And bow upon my aging knees.
I offer my most fervent prayer,
On behalf of those suffering in great need.

The clarion call for folded hands,
Comes from the wounded hearts that bleed.
My praying hands are lifted up toward heaven,
On behalf of those suffering in great need.

My hands are folded, and lifted up
On a weary body resting upon its knees.
Calling upon the living God of heaven,
On behalf of those suffering in great need.

Tired bodies, hurting hearts, troubled souls,
Cry out for folded hands upon bended knees;
A living portrait of a soul,
That cares and prays --
For those suffering in great need.
