The Sun Kissed Sky

The Sun Kissed Sky

Gray winter clouds,
Cold snow
and icy rain;
Today, the sun kissed a clear blue sky,
And I will never be the same.

Terroist alert at orange,
A fearful nation
moving about on a walking cane;
Today, the sun kissed a clear blue sky,
And I will never be the same.

Duct tape your doors and windows,
Place plastic sheeting
over your house the same;
Today, the sun kissed a clear blue sky,
And I will never be the same.

War with Iraq,
Ben Ladin's words
are totally insane;
Today, the sun kissed a clear blue sky,
And I will never be the same.

Do not be afraid,
Words of God
we must reclaim;
Today, the sun kissed a clear blue sky,
And I will move forward
without fear,
In Jesus name!
