Let Your Soul Sing!

Let Your Soul Sing!

To face an uncertain future,
Is not an easy thing;
Yet, when your heart is in doubt,
Let your soul joyfully sing.

To the promises of His Word,
Your spirit must firmly cling;
Yet, when your heart is in doubt,
Let your soul joyfully sing.

To discover hope in hard times,
Is like facing a high mountain to climb;
Yet, when your heart is in doubt,
Let your soul joyfully sing.

To write your feelings in words of form and rhyme,
Is like striking your own liberty bell
With freedom's ring;
Yet, when your heart begins to doubt,
Let your soul joyfully sing.

In spite of your trial, giving thanks --
To God, is truly the right thing;
Yet, if your heart begins to doubt,
Let your soul joyfully sing.
