Take Wings My Heart

Take Wings My Heart

Take "wings" my heart,
As you begin another day.
Let faith have a brand new start,
As you walk the steps of your chosen way.

Take "wings" my heart,
Walk with boldness and courage today.
Fear not the surrounding dark,
Be still, my heart,
Follow what His Spirit has to say.

Take "wings" my heart,
Let God carry you on eagle's wings.
Then life's challenges will not seem quite so tart,
As a new song of faith and trust you can loudly sing.

Take "wings" my heart,
Rejoice! For this is the day the Lord has made.
Commit to Him today's certain, but unknown chart,
Let Him be the potter, For thou art the clay.
