Life In The Vine
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

By George David Denson
Other Poems by George David Denson

We are the branches, He is the Vine,
Bear much fruit and glorify God,
Come sit at the Master's feet and leisurely dine.

We are the branches, He is the Vine,
When we have unbroken fellowship with Him,
Our life is as bright as the brightest sunshine.

We are the branches, He is the Vine,
Ask what you need in His name,
His Father will give it to you in His time.

We are the branches, He is the Vine,
He will clean and lift us off the ground,
Giving us new life through the bread and the wine.

We are the branches, He is the Vine,
Without Him, we can do nothing,
And we will walk as if we were born blind.

We are the branches, He is the Vine,
Chosen by Him to serve and love,
In doing so, we experience life's joy so sublime.
