Washing The Master's Feet
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

By George David Denson
Other Poems by George David Denson

Through acts of love and kindness,
As our Master taught --
We seek to wash each other's feet;
Yet, like the woman with flowing hair,
We also need to wash,
Our Master's time-tested dusty feet.

How beautiful are the feet of those
Who bring good news,
Isaiah artistically wrote;
How beautiful are the feet of the Master,
Who brought us good news,
And graciously saved our life and soul.

Let me wash your feet,
And you will be a part of me,
Our Master daily implores;
Let us wash His feet,
And experience His amazing grace,
That we daily need, yet, more and more!
