The Kneeling Christian is a title of a book,
Written many years ago.
Men ought always to pray,
And not to faint,
Was the theme of this book on prayer
By a noble writer,
Whose name no one knows!

Written by an unknown Christian,
The author's preface states.
Written with much hesitancy,
Yet, by request,
The unknown writer's words
Offers much guidance on how
To joyfully and effectively pray.


Daily kneel before Him in prayer
The unkown author contends.
Pray for His glory,
Plead for your highest good and
God's most abundant blessings,
From Heaven to you
He will graciously send.

About the Poet
I am 73 years old and have not written poetry in these past many years For my wife of 73, my daughter of 50 and my son, 44 in the Army National guard I write this poem in faith but also with tear.
