Breaking God's Silence Barrier

Today, I bowed my knees to pray,
God, please help this struggling poet,
to find your perfect way;
Heaven whispered just ask and receive,
Painfully, only His sovereign silence was given to me.

I gave a sacrificial gift of love,
Seeking to find my compelling need
supplied from His grand heaven above;
Yet again, only His loud silence came to me,
Don't give up my aching heart resonates,
Have a strong faith in The God In Three!

Tomorrow the need may be greater than todays
Wait, my spirit hears Heavens growing echo --
soon, no more excruciating prayer delays;
Please humbly knock again, and present your pressing need,
Closed doors will soon be opened with blessings,
In which your soul will be well pleased.

As I close these words of tearful rhyme,
My waiting soul cries out -
NOW MUST BE THE TIME!
Look, His sun shines through my clouds of pressing need,
God's silence has been lovingly broken,
Yes, God's silence has been broken --
Open up my empty hands, and graciously receive!
