Autumn's Amazing Grace

Autumn's Amazing Grace

Good Morning --
A brisk, chilled, Fall breeze
greeted my ever awakening face.
Autumn always comes
after Summer and before Winter,
with creation's testimony of Amazing Grace!

Like our summers --
Life sometimes is long, dry, and hot.
Making you wish that you lived
in another place.
Then, along comes Autumn,
renewing your body, mind and spirit,
with her loving kiss of Amazing Grace!

Winters are often harsh, bitter and cold --
Both the seasonal and the one
which can be an expression of life's
ever changing and often difficult pace.
Thankfully, Autumn comes along first,
and wraps us up, in nature's warm blanket
of colorful Amazing Grace!

Autumn comes after summer and
just before winter --
in time's seasonal race.
How glad I am, that
faith is at my life's center,
and I can perceive and acknowledge
Autumn's Amazing Grace!
