The Labor Pains of March

The Labor Pains of March

When February becomes forgotten history,
Memories fade of Winter's dreariness and cold;
March goes into contractual labor pains,
Ready to birth a new Spring ever so bold!

There are thirty-one opportunistic days betwen,
February and April -- Take time, count them every one;
For March is a God given natural earthen bridge,
To transport our souls, from winter's cold to Springs new sun.

Beware the uncertain ides of every March,
Shakespeare long ago voiced so loud and clear;
My friend, don't be afraid when March the first comes,
For Spring and new life, may be very close and ever so near!
