Easter

Shattered screams echo through the cloud encompassed mountains

Down through the shadowed valleys into the darkened river plains,

Wars and rumors of war, devastation in nature and by mankind,

A gloomy forboding past foretelling a threatening future.

Is there no hope, no mercy, no respite?

A gentle Light pierces the gloom, its brilliance only lessened by the

ominous darkness: There's a cross made large across the shaded landscape, and an empty tomb.

The Light that lights everyone's life,

Are we too blind to see it?

Too blind to see it?
