Every Day Is Mother's Day

Think about that my friend
Each and every day
There's Mother to defend
Times have so change the rules
Our Culture in such turmoil
Mothers that we knew would now be called fools

Mothers were created by, ordained of God
To nurture, to care for the life begun in the womb
That is their primary purpose on this sod
It is an awesome calling, no greater I believe
But its been downgraded to something below drudgery
Babysitters of one sort or another mothers relieve

These ladies now are known for their careers
Their work outside the home
Leaving ordained nurturing deeply in arrears
Leaving ordained nurturing deeply in arrears
