One More Raindrop
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

One more raindrop I think I'll scream
Too much water everywhere it does seem

To think just a year ago we were crying over drought
Can't be pleased with the weather without a doubt

Mother Nature seems not to care
Must watch out for ourselves, just beware

Thankful for the pleasant days
Enjoying the few sun's rays

What will happen when it gets too hot
Cry for rain? I most certainly will not!

That is a laugh, I can tell you for certain
I'll be pleading for rain behind the curtain

But not now, not now, Mother Nature, spare
Wait until we need it to finally share

Wait until we need it to finally share

One More Raindrop (c)2003 Quentin Clingerman
