Time Moves on

Time moves on and we are awash in it

Trying to paddle against the tide is futile

Time moves on and we may be aghast

At its fleeting passage as it splashes by.

Riding the waves with abandon

Enjoying the passing scene

Forgetting the past near catastrophic rapids

Looking forward to each brand new day

With God at the helm of our vessel

Let the Sea of Time wend its way

With God at the helm of our vessel

Let the Sea of Time wend its way

Time Moves on (c)2010 Quentin Clingerman
