In awesome, keen, lively anticipation
My heart responses to the godly hope of my salvation
One day I shall see Jesus as He fully appears
And be like Him, casting forever away any doubts or fears

Incomprehensible, St. Paul declared, after visions glorious
What God has in His Glory, sublime tranquility most victorious
I set my heart and mind on this great hope
Endeavoring to please Him with this panoramic eternal scope
