David Clingerman

His spirit remains strong
Against the author of all wrong
In faith that is long

His body knows great pain
The cancer does destructively remain
One of the curses on this life has lain

The Lord is his Hope
He will not in suffering mope
Nor in the darkness of illness grope

Heaven is his home
There a mansion from which he'll never roam
He is ready for the celestial dome

'Til then he fights the good fight of faith
Determined to be victor over death
Determined to be victor over death

David Clingerman(c)2002 Quentin Clingerman

Author's Note: Update: 1-31-03. David went to be with the Lord. His terrible ordeal is over. He rests with God.
