Evil's Secular Dart
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

If in the course of nature
I must be forced to feed in other than green pasture
If I must march beside waters of confusion and turmoil
Let me find myself on a completely foreign soil

Must I in silence merely believe
My message of hope and peace I cannot retrieve
Sharing in every public forum
Should not take a nonreligious quorum

Must I take the whip of displeasure
To sort out the beggary of bigotry full measure?
Let all men profess their faith, or lack thereof, whatever it be
Just do not crucify freedom on some politically correct secular tree

Freedom of speech, freedom of religion go hand in hand
To protect them both -- you of gentle faith must boldly stand
Speak up of what is on your heart
Save this nation from Evil's secular dart
