Simple Yet Profound

The bended heart and knee
Entering the Throne Room of God
Sets our hearts at ease, our spirits free

In simple faith, listening for His Voice
Seeking His love, His will to do
In His care we thus rejoice

Constant in prayer, in obedient trust
Sharing in God's holiness
Living out His will, then we must

Simple yet profound
Prayer is an act of loving faith
Recognizing to Whom we are eternally bound

Recognizing the Father to whom we are bound

Simple Yet Profound(c)2007 Quentin Clingerman
