Lovely Sites/Sounds of Spring

Yellow daffodils spell out spring
With other early flowers colorfully underlining;
Spring language in bloom on trees
Even before the cholorphyll leaves;
A gentle breeze may spread the message
Softly floating to the warming ground

Longer days make the reading pleasant
Walking in the late afternoon light
With the message still quite bright
Green "print" predominates
But lavendar, white, blue, red, yellow
Spell out gay words for this fellow

Thank the Lord for Spring
Its lively mesage so gladly heard
Birght with many hues;
Of new born animals as well
From soft baaa, baaa of sheep
To the loud chatter of peeps

Rain in showers or thunder storms
Punctuate the message so well
The seasons are in tune
With all of creation
A very long message indeed
One for us all to wonderfully heed.
