Here I Go Again

Getting those AAA maps
Making phone calls
A little planning in advance

Asking the Lord's guidance as I go
Heading to the midwest and a graduation
It is time for another celebration

Over hills, mountains, valleys, rivers, and plateaus
Driving the Lincoln makes it more pleasureable one knows
Past farmland, towns, villages and cities

The midwest has variety of scenery
Driving for hours though makes it become blurry
Then it is time to a motel to scurry

Driving flight number one, no hours long wait for take off
Keeping everything close by in my trusty vehicle
It'll take longer, but I'll watch the planes fly by

Here I Go Again (c) 2002 Quentin Clingerman
