Resurrection

As Easter morning approaches
With the resurrection of Christ
There is a well of anticipation
Perhaps stemming from the New Birth

We too, one day, shall be resurrected
The grave is not our final destiny
Nor "the place of the dead"
Wherever that may be

In that awesome consummation
Of Christ's death and resurrection
We will be raised in glorious affirmation
If we are one of His

If we are one of His
