Gently

I gently touch each eyelid wishing each one well

I gently touch each eyelid, could you feel it?

Can you tell?

Gently(c)2008 Quentin Clingerman

Author's Note:  Emailed to an internet friend who has a severe eye infection.  She thinks from a tiny, tiny flake of mascara!  She was virtually blind for several days.  The noninfected eye she now can open.
