Halos of Joy

Joining in the congregational singing

A Spirit of unity prevailed

Joy filled my heart to overflowing

God, in His great mercy,

Has forgiven all my sins!

Hallelujah!  What a Savior!

Redeemer King, Creator of the Universe

Condescended to become Man

To die, not only as a mortal

But as God taking on the sins of mankind!

It would utterly crush a mere human

Trillions and trillions of sins!

Only God could deal with the consequences of Fallen Man

In love, He did!

Hallelujah!  What a Savior!

It were as though halos of joy hung over the rejoicing

congregation
