April, Glad You Are Here!

April, you start so foolishly

But showers soon wash the silliness away

Flowers spring forth and blossoms appear

April, glad you are here!

April, this year the month of Easter

Crucifixion and resurrection are near

Glad hosannas fill our places of worship

April, glad you are here!

April, the promise of springtime

Gardens and green lawns

Fruit trees blooming

Birds singing their nesting song

April, glad you are here!
