Hear Those Chimes!

Every year about this time

There is music in the air

Every year about this time

Chimes are heard everywhere

Don't you hear them loud and clear?

Stop and listen and you shall hear

Christmas blessings of sweetest note

Music from the heart - not by rote

Chimes of Advent ever swell

The story of the Savior come to tell

Listen, listen, hear them now?

Stop, it won't cause a row

Fill your days with merry pleasure

Feel in busyness sense of leisure

Feel in busyness sense of leisure

Hear Those Chimes! (c) 2008 Quentin Clingerman
